St. Peter's Hospital - Full Time - Days The primary role of the ES Assistant Supervisor is to perform tasks and assume responsibilities that provide assistance to the Supervisor in all aspects of department operations. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior Environmental Services and supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to develop effective supervisory skills required.
- Also has floor care experience.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques preferred.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment required.
Responsibilities
- Performs general housekeeping and floor care duties.
- Assists the Supervisor with functions including but not limited to planning, scheduling, recruitment, training, paperwork, staff oversight, inventory, ordering, and special projects.
- Provides supervision and assistance at the off-campus sites.
- Coordinates with Supervisor and shares responsibility for the cleanliness of the buildings.
