About The Position

A landmark semiconductor construction project is underway in Clay, NY and the environmental compliance program behind it needs a sharp, experienced Storm Water Analyst to help keep it running clean and compliant. As an Environmental Regulatory Compliance Storm Water Analyst, you'll be embedded within a larger EHS team on an active, high -profile construction site where your work has direct, visible impact. SWPPP development, implementation, and inspection will be at the core of what you do, supported by a team of environmental and safety professionals working alongside you every day. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in environmental compliance, with a focus on storm water management in construction settings
  • Strong knowledge of environmental law and compliance regulations including local, state, and federal storm water requirements
  • NYSED Storm Water Training certification, or demonstrated ability and commitment to obtain it
  • Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
  • Experience with environmental permitting and remediation practices
  • Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes
  • Understanding of geotechnical engineering and water resources management
  • Project management skills with experience in project scheduling and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • CESSWI, CPESC, or QISP certification
  • Prior experience on large -scale industrial or semiconductor construction projects
  • Established working relationships with New York State environmental regulatory agencies
  • Experience developing and managing SWPPP documentation systems on active construction sites

Responsibilities

  • Own SWPPP compliance: Develop, implement, inspect, and maintain Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans in accordance with New York State and federal requirements throughout all phases of construction.
  • Monitor and report: Conduct regular site inspections, track environmental compliance activities, and prepare accurate, timely reports for regulatory agencies and project leadership.
  • Conduct audits and inspections: Identify storm water and broader environmental compliance gaps before they become violations, and drive corrective action to closure.
  • Develop and implement policies: Create and maintain environmental policies and procedures specific to storm water management and construction site compliance.
  • Manage regulatory relationships: Serve as a point of contact with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, maintaining strong working relationships that support project continuity.
  • Assess environmental risk: Conduct research to identify potential environmental liabilities and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
  • Support the broader EHS team: Provide technical guidance on environmental compliance issues across the project and collaborate with safety, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Leverage technical tools: Apply GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D proficiency to support storm water analysis, site mapping, and documentation requirements.
