Kimley-Horn's Oakland office is seeking a Environmental Planner with 2+ years of experience to join their Environmental Planning team! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Prepare Environmental Quality Act documents, environmental impact reports, and negative and mitigated negative declarations Assist in Specific Plans, Master Plans, and other environmental or planning policy documents in support of a full range of infill and/or land development related projects Perform a variety of tasks, supporting various project managers and collaborating with team members. Will likely gain expertise in: Sustainability, climate action planning, ENVISION, LEED, and Salmon-Safe Environmental clearance associated with local comprehensive plans/local land use planning Working with infrastructure projects from across industries such as transportation, transit, land planning, aviation At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
