About The Position

As Stemilt’s Planning Analyst you will support our Planning & Fulfillment team to enhance the department’s four critical business functions: Supply Chain Planning, Strategic Planning, Analytics, and Production Optimization. This position supports four thousand Stemilters and it’s required to deliver extraordinary customer service at all levels. Outstanding leadership and analytical skills are a must.

Requirements

Experience authoring analytic reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
Experience conducting business analyses, with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly to a wide range of audiences.
Knowledge of data modeling principles (Joins, Cardinality, Fact vs. Dimension Tables, etc.).
Knowledge of, and experience with MS Office Suite (Power Point, Word, etc.) and advanced Excel tools (e.g. Power Query, Power Pivot).
Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years’ experience in planning, business analytics, business management, statistics, economics, finance, or related field. Or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.
Resourceful, proactive self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with analytic platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, etc.), Azure DevOps and/or understanding of software development methods and processes.
Experience with basic Python coding and libraries (Pandas, Requests, etc.).
Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
Knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server), including proficiency writing SQL queries.
Experience developing production plans in a manufacturing industry.
Statistical programming (e.g., Stata, SAS, R).
Experience working in tree fruit or agricultural industry.

Responsibilities

Supports the development of reports and dashboards that help teams make informed decisions using business intelligence and analytical tools.
Collects and compiles annual crop estimates for apples, pears, and cherries.
Assists in maintaining and updating organizational crop forecasts to support multi-year planning.
Help prepare ad-hoc analyses regarding supply chain planning, strategic planning, and department projects.
Contributes to the upkeep of and enhances planning models that aid supply chain management and production optimization.
Develop and maintain reports for tracking of supply chain performance.
Create reports using data from external partners.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and summarize findings or action items for leadership.
Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
Maintain complete knowledge of latest business developments and market trends.
Ensure compliance with company laws and regulations.
