The Environmental Hygienist Intern is to support environmental health initiatives by conducting assessments in schools, childcare centers, and hospitals, ensuring safe indoor environments. Responsibilities include operating equipment, collecting and analyzing environmental samples, and interpreting results in accordance with health standards. The role also involves educating clients and communities about environmental health findings and recommendations, as well as maintaining accurate records and data systems. Through outreach and advocacy, the position helps promote healthier environments and informed decision-making among stakeholders. This role will start in February and last through May.
