About The Position

Clampco is a leading employee-owned manufacturer of heavy‑duty stainless‑steel V‑band, T‑bolt band clamps, and strap assemblies, supplying products to over 40 markets—from agriculture and filtration to commercial vehicle and aerospace & defense industries. Due to an upcoming retirement, we’re looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to provide leadership and direction for the organization’s environmental, health, safety, and product regulatory compliance programs. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and customer-driven regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement. The EHS Manager partners with leadership to minimize risk, enhance compliance performance, and support sustainable business growth.

Requirements

  • 4 – Year Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor experience
  • Experience with risk management and internal control environments
  • Ability to conduct facility inspections and safety audits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and standard business software tools
  • Ability to analyze trends and preventative measures
  • US Citizenship as some work required ITAR compliance

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive EHS strategies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture where employees take personal responsibility for safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Conduct accident investigations, prepare safety bulletins and communication of root cause.
  • Develop and maintain EHS metrics, OSHA log, and other reports tools to monitor performance and identify trends. Provide updates at staffing meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, applicable state and local regulations. Act as Company representative during audits and inspections.
  • Manage sustainability, safety programs and vendors such as waste management, recycling, hearing conservation, random drug screen, safety shoes, oil absorption program and the like.
  • Manage safety training compliance requirements within given LMS and operational testing authorizing us of powered industrial trucks and safe operation of equipment in general.
  • Lead customer compliance reporting and documentation requirements on restricted party screening for potential customers anchored abroad.
  • Manage ISO14001 compliance requirements including internal and external auditing compliance.
  • Partner with peers to ensure regulatory compliance throughout product lifecycle and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and work instructions supporting regulatory compliance.
  • Monitors and orders PPE for production and other staff.
  • Attends BWC & other compliance training sessions and coordinates safety team attendance for continuous improvement.
