About The Position

Environmental Health & Safety Intern West Fraser is a diversified North American wood products company producing southern yellow pine lumber and wood chips across the Southern US and Western Canada. We are the largest lumber producer in North America! Our employees operate in a culture that values safety first and rewards hard work. The EHS Intern will provide the mill with “hands-on” support and implementation that will ensure facility compliance with OSHA and EPA related federal, state and location Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations and applicable Company policies. A successful Intern with West Fraser will be considered for a full-time role with the Company upon graduation and is, in fact, a primary goal of the Intern program We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Requirements

  • Enrolled in or have completed a four-year Environmental Health degree program
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
