About The Position

The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Intern plays a vital role in supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs that ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Eagerness to develop analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow company policies and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed
• Currently enrolled at an accredited institution, working towards a Bachelor’s degree with a safety focus

Responsibilities

• Build, rollout, and provide ongoing support for forms and inspections within the EHS Insight software
• Develop ‘How-to’ resources, including instructional videos and written guides to assist end-users and site leaders
• Generate internal EHS communications and newsletters to keep the team informed on safety initiatives
• Collaborate with safety committee members to ensure monthly tasks are track and completed on time
• Create helpful tools and resources to support the daily functions of safety coordinator roles
• Perform data mining to track incident, associate costs, correction and prevention actions
• Generate regular reports to visual trends
• Assist with misc. safety projects and tasks as they arise to support overall safety culture
