Requirements
- The candidate must be comfortable walking around an industrial environment and have the ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently when given clear direction
- Current Chemical or Mechanical Engineer major, preferably junior (in 3rd year) OR Safety or Occupational Health major OR Chemistry major with an interest in EHS
Responsibilities
- Updating the site’s LOTO procedures.
- Assisting the Process Safety Engineer in various tasks supporting the site’s process safety program
- Organizing the permit to work files.
- Archiving safety records
- Industrial Hygiene sampling
- Developing EHS training materials
