Requirements

Experience in EHS, environmental compliance, industrial safety, or manufacturing safety
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental permits, hazardous waste, and chemical safety
Strong communication skills — comfortable engaging with teams on the floor and in meetings
Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to lead by example

Nice To Haves

Certifications a plus (but not required): OSHA 30, CHMM, ASP, CSP, HAZWOPER

Responsibilities

Lead daily Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives across the facility
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
Support and monitor compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local regulations
Manage waste disposal, chemical handling, air emissions, stormwater, and other environmental programs
Investigate near misses, incidents, and root causes, and help implement corrective actions
Train employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, PPE, and environmental awareness
Maintain accurate documentation, permits, SDS files, and compliance records
Champion continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental stewardship
Partner with operations and leadership to build a strong safety-first culture
