Working in Temple University’s Environmental Health & Radiation Safety (EHRS) department, and under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, the Environmental Health & Safety Program Manager leads in the development and administration of EHRS-led environmental programs and projects. Key program responsibilities include managing the university’s requirements for storage tanks (UST/AST), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC), Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA), and regulated waste (chemical/biological) for all university campuses. Additionally, the EHS Program Manager assists the department in long-term planning activities, analyzes data, engages in university outreach and monitoring, and reports on compliance with regulatory agency permits and agreements. Performs other related duties as assigned.
