About The Position

Legrand is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Intern to join the Data, Power & Control Division's Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. In this role, you will support the Operations department and contribute to meaningful E.H.S. projects while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Safety Sciences major
• Must demonstrate a positive approach and an interest in E.H.S. initiatives and processes
• Excellent written communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and take initiative
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality in all situations

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)
• Assist in the completion of incident investigations and determining root cause analysis
• Participate in safety audits
• Provide project and administrative support as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
