Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Environment Health and Safety Engineer. In this role, you will: 1) Manage Chemical Databases for all of Space 2) Provide Hazardous Communication, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Safe Chemical Handling and Toxic Substance Control ACT (TSCA) guidance. 4) Manage computer databases and applications such as Oracle, SAP, ERP and be familiar with SQL coding. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of - Knowledge of computer databases and applications and familiar with SQL coding. - Possess experience and knowledge in OSHA and EPA Chemical Regulations. - Knowledge of chemical hazards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree program from accredited college/university in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health or any other related or a Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and/or EPA regulations
  • Knowledge/Experience in Environmental Health and Safety subject areas, such as one of the following: chemical management, and industrial hygiene, and/or Toxic Substance Control ACT (TSCA) guidance or any other related areas.
  • Knowledge of computer databases and applications (i.e., Oracle, SAP, ERP or anything else related), and familiar with SQL coding or anything else related.
  • Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Actively enrolled/graduated from Master's degree program from accredited college/university in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc. highly preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a very dynamic work environment, and strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
  • Possess experience and knowledge in OSHA and EPA Chemical Regulations.
  • Knowledge of chemical hazards
  • Strong communication/written skills
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
