About The Position

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Service Technician to join our team in Madison, NJ. The Service Technician is responsible for performing lube, oil, filter, and multi-point vehicle service inspections to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician’s assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) within company guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to weather, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands for job duties.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
  • Safe operation of equipment and vehicles is mandatory.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and supports a cohesive team environment.
  • Adheres to company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Provides excellent, efficient, and fair service to customers.
  • Conducts self professionally and avoids conflicts of interest.
  • Expresses issues clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections to ensure accurate vehicle diagnostics.
  • Assess supplemental vehicle service needs and communicate them effectively.
  • Deliver quality service consistently and report any substandard parts, processes, or procedures to management.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness during servicing and repairs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt, accurate service and clear communication.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment compliant with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Perform additional job duties as requested by management.
