Position Overview As an Entry-Level Event Assistant , you will help plan, coordinate, and execute community and retail events that drive donations for nonprofit organizations. This hands-on role provides the opportunity to interact directly with the public , assist with event logistics , and contribute to successful fundraising initiatives . This fast-paced position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, outgoing, and committed to making a positive impact.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about supporting charitable causes
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for event travel

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in event coordination, customer service, or sales is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating community and retail events
• Manage event logistics to ensure seamless execution
• Serve as a point of contact for attendees , answering questions and providing information
• Promote the nonprofit’s mission , encouraging participation and donations
• Distribute promotional materials to raise awareness and engagement
• Track event data , including donations and sales, ensuring accuracy
• Collect attendee feedback to improve future events
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful event delivery
• Participate in training sessions to stay informed on nonprofit missions and objectives
• Support a positive, energetic atmosphere at all events
