Position Overview As an Entry-Level Event Assistant, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising events for nonprofit organizations. This hands-on position allows you to: Interact directly with the public Assist with event logistics Contribute to the success of community and retail fundraising initiatives This fast-paced role is perfect for individuals who are energetic, outgoing, and committed to making a positive impact.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing, friendly, and passionate about supporting charitable causes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for event travel

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in event coordination, customer service, or sales is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating community and retail fundraising events
  • Manage event logistics to ensure smooth execution
  • Serve as a point of contact for attendees, answering questions and providing information
  • Promote the nonprofit’s mission, encouraging participation and donations
  • Distribute promotional materials to raise awareness and engagement
  • Track event data, including donations and sales, ensuring accuracy
  • Collect attendee feedback to improve future events
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful event delivery
  • Participate in training sessions to stay informed on nonprofit objectives
  • Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional presence at all events
