About The Position

Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis, is one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country, specializing in on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. They also operate over 20 nationwide service centers for accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair, supported by a 24/7 in-house call center. This position is an opportunity to join the FleeTec Academy, a paid educational program by Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services, designed to train individuals to become full-time Diesel & Trailer Technicians. The program aims to provide free education on diesel engine fundamentals and truck repair, along with a set of hand tools and a toolbox, without the burden of technical school tuition debt. Participants will undergo four weeks of intensive full-time classroom training at the Academy Campus, with all travel expenses, hotel accommodation, meals stipend, and a weekly paycheck covered. Upon completing the classroom phase, trainees will be paired with a Lead Technician for hands-on training and offered a full-time Mobile Diesel Mechanic position. The program includes further classroom study for skill development, leading to a Diesel Technician qualification upon multi-year program completion.
