About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking an Entry-level Civil Engineer with zero to three years of experience who wishes to gain site development experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration or pending E.I.T. certification
• Experience and/or interest in general site engineering including creating conceptual plans, preparing construction plans, working with senior civil engineers, collaborating with other engineering disciplines and architects, visiting construction sites, and providing technical assistance during design and construction
• Design skills for preparing site plans, grading and drainage plans, storm water design, water and sanitary sewer utility plans, ADA accessibility, and other associated improvements
• Experience with AutoCAD (2020 or newer) drafting system and standards; Civil 3D preferred
• Experience with MS Office programs
• Desire to work as a pro-active team player
• Exceptional technical writing and communication skills
