About The Position

The Entertainment Stage Hand/AV Technician is responsible for setting up audio visual (AV) equipment including portable audio systems, projectors, screens, TV’s, computers, satellite TV, large displays, etc. Responsible for safely moving and storage of stages, various production equipment, and related cables. Responsible for set up and breakdown and maintenance of stages, risers, sound and lighting equipment and instruments. Must maintain a professional, helpful demeanor while working with clients and performing artists, and assist the Entertainment crew as assigned/instructed. General Preparations for the next performance and/or event. Setting up and connecting stage as well as additional prep work for incoming performers or clients. Moving/set up/break down of staging, risers, production audio/lighting equipment. Conduct routine maintenance & cleaning. Set up/break down and operation of various AV equipment in a corporate or banquet setting. Actively participate in the safety awareness for the performers, crew, and guests. Safe handling of all props, technical equipment and tools. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

Requirements

  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
  • Must be able to provide positive and friendly interaction with talent, guests, and coworkers.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
