About The Position

Responsible for the overall compliance of the company related to all audit, regulatory and legal requirements. Directly supervises the Internal Audit and Compliance Departments.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Five (5) years of experience in casino finance, internal audit, legal or compliance areas of which two (2) years of experience must have been in a management role in a major resort/casino operation.
  • Requires demonstrated knowledge/capabilities in the areas of internal audit and compliance.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills required.
  • Requires the ability to make effective presentations on complex financial topics, excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex business/financial data.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • State of Nevada Gaming Permit
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License, and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old), and Proof of Unexpired Personal Vehicle Insurance Coverage.
  • MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years old

Responsibilities

  • Develop controls and procedures to ensure compliance with the corporate compliance program and manage all compliance oversight activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Develop financial controls and manage the corporate internal audit function in cooperation with external auditors and other regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure corporate compliance related to Title 31, AML, KYC and other federal guidelines and oversees training in support of these functions.
  • Monitor gaming departments to ensure compliance with GCB Regulations.
  • Providing adequate compliance training and implementing strategies to ensure maintenance of policies for regulatory compliance.
  • Prepares and maintains standardized submitted systems for all properties, (MICS, ICS) in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Hire, train, lead, develop, motivate, evaluate, coach, and discipline marketing team members.
  • Keeps abreast of legislative changes impacting the organization and communicates the organization’s position to senior management.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
  • Fosters positive interactions and trust with internal and external customers.
  • Keeps abreast of legislative changes impacting the organization.
  • Finds proactive ways to disseminate information regarding regulation changes and how to implement them.
