About The Position

The Entertainment Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Entertainment Department, serving as the primary point of contact for both internal and external guests. This position provides administrative, logistical, and guest service support to ensure the smooth execution of entertainment events and activities. The Coordinator assists the Director of Entertainment and Production Manager with scheduling, reporting, communications, and project coordination, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of STRC. Provide exceptional internal and external guest service by demonstrating courtesy, professionalism, and responsiveness at all times. Serve as the main contact for entertainment inquiries and communications across departments and with external partners. Coordinate with artist management and tour representatives to advance all aspects of each show, ensuring logistics, hospitality, and production needs are accurately communicated and fulfilled. Support event coordination by consulting with internal stakeholders and vendors to establish goals, service needs, and timelines. Prepare, distribute, and maintain schedules, reports, and documentation for events and entertainment activities. Perform administrative functions such as data entry, correspondence, accounting support, and report preparation. Act as liaison between the Entertainment Department and other casino departments to ensure effective collaboration. Coordinate with Marketing to ensure promotional materials and communication needs are met. Monitor and replenish office supplies, manage purchasing requests, and coordinate travel arrangements. Assist with event setup and emergency procedures as required. Maintain awareness of company communications, policies, and initiatives by reviewing internal bulletins, signage, and newsletters. Maintain extreme professionalism and discretion when interacting with high-profile guests, performers, and public figures; ensure all interactions reflect positively on STRC and the Spokane Tribe of Indians. Perform other tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Three (3) years of office administration experience in hospitality, events or entertainment environment.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite, Ticketing software and other related systems.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to a changing work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in a dynamic entertainment environment.
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
  • Gaming License Required. Ability to secure and maintain applicable STRC Gaming License.
