About The Position

The Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for the strategy, stability, and evolution of Kwik Lok’s global enterprise systems (ES) landscape. This role blends hands-on technical oversight with people and project leadership, ensuring enterprise systems reliably support manufacturing operations, ERP processes, automation technologies, and corporate functions. Reporting to the CFO, this role leads the Enterprise Systems (IT/IS) team, manages complex system escalations, and collaborates internationally with department heads to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient multi-year solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or advanced systems support and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years of experience directly supervising technical staff, including responsibility for performance management, resource allocation, and team development.
  • Demonstrated background in successful systems deployment and managing complex global information technology network administration.
  • Extensive history in network security policies, procedures, maintenance, and backup protocols.
  • Deep understanding of the NetSuite ERP & CRM ecosystem and Azure services, including Power Platform, AI-driven efficiency solutions, and cloud integrations to drive business productivity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and enterprise networking (firewalls, switching, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Familiarity supporting industrial automation systems, production test environments, and enterprise-grade labeling or printing hardware.
  • Expert knowledge of security and compliance controls, system monitoring, performance tools and recovery/backup procedures.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
  • Must be available and responsive during scheduled work hours and possess a physical workspace that facilitates telework (internet access, ability to focus on work during work hours if others are present in the home, successfully complete telework environment safety assessments on a regular basis).
  • Employees must use video during virtual meetings to support non-verbal communication continuity.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant industry certifications such as Azure, Dynamics, VMware, or ITIL are highly preferred.
  • Preference for candidates from manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the ES team, emphasizing a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, impeccable customer service, cross‑functional partnership and business alignment.
  • Support ES team skill development and performance through training, knowledge sharing, and hands‑on guidance.
  • Provide high-level training to direct reports and internal stakeholders on emerging technologies and new systems.
  • Serve as a consultant to senior management to resolve business challenges through innovative technical solutions.
  • Own and execute a multi-year ES strategy that aligns technology investments with global company objectives.
  • Oversee the ES budget for capital and operating expenses; in conjunction with the CFO, approve all hardware, software, and service acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain ES objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure systems operate within defined budget, time, and security specifications.
  • Perform business and functional analysis and reach sound conclusions regarding customer needs and requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, and the ability to apply these in the service of the company’s key business goals.
  • Own framework for security governance, including risk management, ownership of incident response, and development of policies and standards.
  • Implement best practices across cloud, ERP, manufacturing systems, printers, labeling systems, and local infrastructure.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and senior-level support of complex global network architecture, including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and security infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, VOIP).
  • Support and optimize the NetSuite ERP & CRM ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems (Dynamics AX/NAV/GP) and Kwik Lok’s operational workflows.
  • Maintain Azure-hosted workloads and Power Platform integrations while researching and recommending cost-effective improvements for cloud migrations and automation rollouts.
  • Collaborate across the enterprise to administer network hardware and ensure system stability during ERP optimization and long-range planning phases.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide configuration, patching, endpoint systems, and identity management protocols to ensure a secure and reliable digital environment.
  • Lead complex system upgrades, cloud migrations, and production automation rollouts, coordinating across engineering and operations for seamless integration of new equipment and manufacturing system enhancements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and complete records, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Support audits and compliance requests, including responding to data validation and operational queries.
  • Serve as the Tier 3 lead for troubleshooting complex issues across servers, network infrastructure, production systems, and integrated business applications.
  • Receive, prioritize, assign, and/or respond to incoming work orders, calls and/or emails regarding network and helpdesk requests, while providing a high level of customer service.
  • Assess customer needs, set priorities and allocate resources to most effectively meet needs in a timely fashion.
  • Support Kwik Lok production activities through the manufacture of Kwik Lok closures with a focus on continuing improvement of quality, food safety, and manufacturing processes.
