About The Position

Performs all tasks related to patient scheduling and pre-registration of outpatients in an efficient, accurate and hospitable manner to ensure that patient, physician and hospital needs are met. Obtain insurance authorization, chart preparation, faxing, filing, and managing the phones. Engaging in performance improvement activities as needed and serves as a communication facilitator for area of responsibility. Provides support to the Perinatal Center healthcare providers under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and Perinatologist. Participate in a safe patient-centered care environment. This includes quality patient care delivery, efficient patient flow and effective communication with the healthcare team.   • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate adaptability and accuracy in clinical skills.
  • Telephone experience with good phone etiquette
