Provides advanced technical support and knowledge for installation, patching, configuration, and updates to enterprise applications, Windows PC and Server Operating systems and hardware, non-Windows Operating systems and hardware, virtualization, databases, and other technologies. Researches, analyzes, and resolve problems effectively to meet established performance metrics as well as provide support and implementation services for IT projects. Maintain documented (e.g. Disaster Recovery) procedures for Windows Infrastructure. Collaborates and contributes with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems. Works closely with the team members and other technical resources to analyze and maintain applications and provide network administrative functions. Coordinates and implements projects and tasks. Takes initiative and exercises limited independent judgment to resolve problems. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values. Requirements

• Associates Degree Computer sciences
• Server and storage hardware 5-7 years
• Exhibits strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of supporting a large number of devices in a complex and diverse environment.
• Ability to work closely with other technical resources to analyze, maintains, and administers enterprise systems and solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in the highly specialized field of systems software and to master the understanding of complex computer hardware and software.
• Full technical knowledge of all phases of software analysis and programs.
• Advanced ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment occasionally to resolve problems

Responsibilities

• Provides support to internal and external customers on site or remotely to analyze reported incidents or requests resulting in a completed request, successful repair or correction.
• Provides maintenance of new existing hardware and software through established maintenance procedures.
• Provides knowledge and experience for team members as needed for projects and to address issues.
• Participates in project planning, analysis, kick off and implementation.
• Assists in developing and maintaining proper departmental documentation.
• Researches, configures, supports, and implements best practices for securing the MLH technology systems.
