About The Position

Meridian Cooperative is seeking an Enterprise Consultant to join our team of passionate innovators serving utilities across the country. In this role, you will partner closely with our enterprise members/customers to deliver expert consulting, design tailored solutions and ensure smooth implementation and long-term success of Meridian’s enterprise platforms—including our Salesforce-based utility application, workflow management tools, GIS-integrated processes, and other utility-specific software. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technical consultant who enjoys solving complex problems, leading solution design, and building meaningful relationships with customers. You will serve as a strategic advisor, senior technical escalation point, and trusted partner helping utilities maximize the value of their technology investments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in consulting, enterprise software implementation, or a related technical role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-level customers with complex technical needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Foundational SQL
  • Proficiency with Python or similar scripting languages
  • Familiarity with Salesforce administration
  • Understanding of electric utility operations or related workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise solutions and implementation practices.
  • Solution-oriented, proactive mindset with eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with enterprise members/customers to understand strategic goals, operational needs, and business challenges.
  • Provide expert recommendations and thought leadership on leveraging Meridian software to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with members/customers and internal teams to design scalable, customized solutions aligned to business requirements.
  • Lead or support software deployment, configuration, integration, and workflow optimization activities.
  • Act as a senior escalation resource for critical technical issues; troubleshoot complex problems and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage escalated incidents and keep customers informed throughout the resolution process.
  • Deliver training for end-users and administrators to support strong adoption and utilization.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through proactive support and continuous optimization of implemented solutions.
  • Partner with product, development, support, and business development teams to resolve issues and influence product enhancements.
  • Represent Meridian at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.
  • Stay current on product updates, new features, and industry trends.
  • Take initiative in innovation, creative problem-solving, and enhancing solution delivery practices.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Travel as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Paid Time Off: Eligible to begin accrual from date of hire; accrual amount based on years of service. Beginning accrual rate equivalent to 22 days per year. 9 holidays which include the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve. Up to 240 hours of PTO can roll over to the following year.
  • Volunteer Time: 8 hours per year
  • Retirement: Robust 401K. Following one year of eligible service, the Company contributes in two ways: (1) match of 100% of each dollar you contribute on the first five percent (5%) of eligible compensation, and (2) Employer basic contribution of 4% of base salary (with increases in basic contribution percentage based on years of service). Employees are 100% vested in Company funded contributions from the date they enter the plan.
