About The Position

Are you a big-picture thinker who can bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution? Mosaic is looking for an Enterprise Architect to serve as a strategic orchestrator of our technology ecosystem. Unlike a Solution Architect who focuses on specific project implementations, you will be responsible for the high-level design of our entire enterprise-wide landscape, ensuring every IT initiative directly advances our business goals. At Mosaic, your work goes beyond systems; you will be a steward of our mission to empower people and provide meaningful lives in a caring community.

Requirements

  • Strategic Expertise: Proven ability in business capability modeling and linking it to various architectural disciplines.
  • Framework Proficiency: Deep knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
  • Technical Breadth: A sound understanding of cloud architecture, networks, microservices, and SOA.
  • Agile Mindset: Comfort working within an Agile SDLC and the ability to introduce and support the adoption of new concepts.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to translate complex tech into business value.
  • Integrity: A commitment to HIPAA compliance and Mosaic’s core values of belonging, connection, faithfulness, and grit.
  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: At least 7 years in IT, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in a solution or enterprise architecture role.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Develop and leverage business capability models to create a shared understanding of our functions and align IT strategy with business priorities.
  • Architectural Blueprinting: Design and document future-state architectures—including conceptual, logical, and physical diagrams—to support long-term objectives.
  • Standards Leadership: Define and enforce the architectural principles and patterns that ensure consistency and quality across the entire enterprise.
  • Governance & Oversight: Provide high-level architectural guidance to solution architects and development teams within the Agile SDLC.
  • Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential for adding real business value.
  • Ecosystem Optimization: Analyze the current IT environment to identify risks, efficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
