Moog's IT Applications Development Team is looking for an Enterprise Applications Manager! In this role you will lead and operate the enterprise applications portfolio to deliver reliable, secure, and business-aligned services. You will own application lifecycle management to achieve and sustain Level 4 maturity, embed AI-assisted software development, and systematically reduce technical debt. You will lead a cross-functional team of Product Owners, Application Developers, Automation Developers, and Development Partners, operating within a SAFe environment to execute using Continuous Exploration and Continuous Delivery practices. You will work at hybrid work schedule (~four days per week) at our East Aurora, NY facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Over seven years in enterprise application delivery/support; over three years leading technical teams or programs.
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and budget management skills.
  • Management of process and deliverables of global, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own Application Lifecycle Management: govern the selection (buy or build), implementation, upgrades, patching, decommissioning and vendor management to achieve and maintain Level 4 maturity.
  • Support SAFe delivery: operate on a cadence utilizing PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Continuous Exploration and Continuous Delivery practices across Product Owners, developers and offshore partners.
  • Modernize SDLC: embed AI‑assisted development, CI/CD, automated testing and code review to accelerate delivery and quality.
  • Reduce technical debt: prioritize, track and remediate debt to lower recurring incidents and improve maintainability.
  • Operations & support: ensure that the Enterprise Applications team is providing application availability, monitoring, incident response and problem resolution services.
  • Deliver projects & integrations: lead small to medium‑sized application projects and integrations; coordinate across teams to achieve objectives.
  • Lead the team & vendors: manage and develop Product Owners, Developers and offshore partners; oversee budgets and SLAs.
  • Ensure security & compliance: partner with security and audit teams to maintain controls and support audits.
