IT Enterprise Applications Manager
About The Position
Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. MD&A's Corporate Facility in Latham, NY is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Manager who will be responsible for leading the Enterprise Applications team and overseeing the administration, optimization, and strategic evolution of MD&A’s business applications ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this role includes ownership of core platforms such as ERP, CRM, Project Operations, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and integration solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in Systems Analyst, Developer, or similar role in business environment.
- 3+ years’ leadership experience managing applications or business systems team.
- Demonstrated continued professional growth and development.
- Hands-on experience with ERP administration and customization
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related field, or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Experience working with Epicor Kinetic ERP
- Familiarity with integration platforms Workato, MS Power Platform

- Experience managing projects using Agile and/or DevOps methodologies
- PMP, Agile Scrum Master, or related project management credentials
- Experience integrating cloud and on-premises systems using APIs
- Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 platform
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the Enterprise Applications team to ensure operational excellence and professional growth.
- Act as thought leader and manager of modern software development lifecycle.
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver system enhancements, integrations, and new applications to resolve business challenges.
- Facilitate training and change management to support user adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Evangelize core software and technology to the user-base for adoption.
- Together with the IT Director, define and manage the Enterprise Applications roadmap, prioritizing projects that deliver measurable business value.
- Serve as primary technical owner for ERP, CRM, Project Management platforms.
- Ensure proper training and development of Enterprise Applications staff to meet business needs.
- Own and manage the corporate data model to maintain data integrity in reporting and workflow automations.
- Design and implement new IT Infrastructure solutions using commercially available hardware and software.
- Assist in ongoing development, maintenance, and testing of disaster recovery plan for all company sites.
- Participate with other IT leaders in annual budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with MHI data governance, security, and privacy standards.
- Work outside normal business hours to minimize system maintenance impacts to userbase.
- Plan, manage, and software deployment projects.
- Identify and track Key Performance indicators (KPI’s) for monitoring application health, uptime, and security.
- Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and system upgrades.
