About The Position

MP Materials is seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Analytics Intern to join our corporate team. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both financial planning and data analytics, supporting cross-functional teams in understanding business performance and driving insights. The intern will work closely with finance, operations, and analytics professionals, learning to interpret data, develop reports, and support key projects that inform decision-making.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, or other analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, data analytics, and business operations.
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, forecasts, and budgets.
• Support the development of reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track operational and financial performance.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to support projects and business insights.
• Conduct variance analyses and help identify trends or key drivers of performance.
• Participate in ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support cost-saving initiatives, capital projects, investment evaluations, and support manufacturing, engineering, finance and other functional teams.
• Assist in maintaining and improving financial and analytical tools, including Excel models, SAP, and reporting platforms.
• Support other finance and analytics projects as assigned.
