About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Analytics will manage corporate and property business relationships and will serve as a subject matter expert for analytics. The individual will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of analysts and ensure that actionable goals of the team align with the strategic direction of Technology, Digital, & Data. The Sr. Manager, Analytics will have a distinctive skill set that combines analytics, engineering, leadership, and business acumen to be able to understand our customers and business and provide meaningful insights and recommendations as a subject matter expert of the data. The Manager will be responsible for making sure that our data is accurate, while also coming up with strategies to improve our measurement capabilities and researching analytics products and features to enhance our data collection and reporting.

Requirements

  • more than two years of advanced professional web analytics
  • more than six months of professional experience in digital, analytical, or product environment
  • more than three years of professional experience with Adobe Cloud
  • proven experience taking analytics metrics from business requirements through implementation and dashboard creation
  • proficient in management consulting, retail, hospitality and/or entertainment focused companies
  • experience with high performance teams and Product Managers
  • experience with e‐commerce optimization or foundation
  • ability to distill complex datain to concise and easily understood concepts and recommendation
  • familiarity and/or working knowledge of SQL, Python, R, and/or C++
  • experience in management consulting, retail, hospitality and/or entertainment focused companies

Responsibilities

  • Manages analytics reporting to support key performance indicators for e‐commerce business, marketing campaigns, and website behavior across MGMRI brands.
  • Leads and mentors a team of senior analysts to ensure ad hoc requests and analysis are handled appropriately.
  • Will establish business requirements and project timelines to manage reports and requests for direct reports.
  • Performs assessments to align technology and reporting solutions with business initiatives.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to track, prioritize, and manage analytics implementation initiatives across teams; serve as contact for analytics/tracking requests.
  • Leads and develops functional relationships with key internal stakeholders (including corporate Brand Marketing managers, property brand managers, IT and Content Managers) to capture business requirements.
  • Assists in tag management services and user acceptance testing of site tags in order to maintain integrity across multiple sources of data.
  • Produces clear and detailed reporting in a timely manner to answer key business questions and provides insights and recommendations.
