About The Position

Vertex Partnership Academies is seeking an organized, proactive Enrollment Support Contractor to provide hands-on operational and family-facing support to the enrollment function. This role is designed to increase capacity during critical recruitment, application, and onboarding windows and will work closely with the Manager of Enrollment, Engagement & External Affairs to ensure enrollment pipelines move quickly, accurately, and professionally. This is not a strategy role. This is an execution role. If you like closing loops, following up relentlessly, and keeping systems clean, this job is for you.

  • Experience in school enrollment, admissions, or family engagement
  • Familiarity with NYC charter enrollment processes
  • Comfort working in spreadsheets, CRMs, or student information systems

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound phone calls, texts, and emails to prospective families
  • Follow up with applicants to collect missing documentation and confirm next steps
  • Support family communication around application status, deadlines, and enrollment events
  • Log all outreach and interactions accurately in enrollment systems
  • Support application intake, review, and completeness checks
  • Track required enrollment documents (e.g., proof of address, immunization records, IEPs)
  • Flag issues, missing items, or concerns to the enrollment lead promptly
  • Assist with onboarding processes once students are matched or accepted
  • Support logistics and execution of recruitment events (open houses, academy tours, information sessions)
  • Assist with sign-ins, follow-up lists, and post-event outreach
  • Help ensure a professional, warm experience for all visiting families
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date enrollment trackers and CRM records
  • Run basic reports as requested (application counts, follow-up lists, conversion tracking)
  • Ensure clean handoffs between recruitment, enrollment, and operations teams
  • Support coordination with internal teams (operations, counseling, leadership) as needed
  • Assist with time-sensitive tasks during high-volume enrollment periods
  • Other enrollment-related duties as assigned
