Enrollment Specialist Seasonal Join a dedicated team that fosters autonomy and creativity while receiving a competitive salary opportunities for career and personal growth and the gratification that comes from creating positive multi generational change Ednovate Background Ednovate launched its first school in 2012 Since then weve grown to eight schools and are on a trajectory to reach 11 schools in just the next few years you can read more about our schools here Ednovate is committed to serving areas where students traditionally lack access to a quality college prep education by building tuition free safe high performing public schools driven to create positive multi generational change We are made up of world travelers nacho connoisseurs KPOP business owners and Beyonce fans We love LA and OC and were our students biggest cheerleaders We are looking to hire innovative changemakers who aim to continue our goal of becoming the high school experts across Southern California Sound like you Keep reading Position Overview As an Enrollment Specialist at Ednovate you will support student enrollment and recruitment work at our schools during the busiest time of year for this work Working closely with one of our school leaders and the network student enrollment team you will execute on a robust student enrollment strategy and process to meet our goal of 100 enrollment As the primary point of contact for students and families in processing enrollment and registration you will provide excellent customer service and ensure airtight follow up and follow through This is a part time non exempt role that reports to the Chief of Schools Please note This seasonal position is available from January to June for six hours per day four days per week

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
Working knowledge of word processing database and spreadsheet applications required

Nice To Haves

Canvassing phone banking or event management experience preferred
Knowledge and cultural competence regarding the communities served by Ednovate preferred
Knowledge of public education and charter schools preferred

Responsibilities

Support the execution of a multi pronged student recruitment strategy
Provide support with the planning and execution of strategic and cultivating student recruitment events at our schools and in the community
Distribute communications and marketing materials including flyers and presentations to drive applications
Attend community events and fairs to inform eligible families and promote Ednovate schools
Provide excellent support to families
Communicate with families to provide proactive support and answer questions throughout the lottery and enrollment process which includes answering enrollment and registration questions via phone online mail andor in person and assisting families with completing enrollment applications paper and online in a timely and thorough manner
Follow up with families after the lottery to offer spots and secure acceptance until achieving the schools enrollment target goals
Manage the registration process by distributing communications following up with families and supporting the collection and input of registration documents until 100 registration is complete
Support enrollment operations
Support the management of SchoolMint our online enrollment and lottery system
Input and organize data gathered from canvassing outreach phone banking and other recruitment and enrollment activities
Monitor progress towards goals and make meaningful and timely adjustments
