About The Position

The Enrollment Counselor (EC) at SNU, Professional and Graduate Studies (PGS) is responsible for developing relationships with adult prospective students towards the goal of enrolling into PGS programs. ECs are the first point of contact and counsel prospective students throughout the admissions process from initial contact to matriculation. The successful candidate will be results driven and passionate about helping students and able to work independently as well as on a team.

Requirements

  • Experience and basic proficiency in G-Suite including, but not limited to: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and some Microsoft functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Superior organizational and problem resolution skills
  • Goal oriented and highly ethical practices
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in higher education recruiting non-traditional adult students
  • Experience working in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Sales background

Responsibilities

  • Apply proven recruiting methods to help students connect with SNU, including prompt follow-up with prospective students using telephone (call/text) and email.
  • Enter and maintain information in the CRM according to Lead Policy
  • Understand University policies and collaborate with Program Directors to assist prospective students through the enrollment process
  • Meet enrollment goals and objectives set by leadership
  • Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned by the Director of Enrollment and/ or Vice President of Academics Affairs for PGS.
