About The Position

Saint Ambrose Catholic School seeks a part-time Enrollment & Community Engagement Coordinator to support enrollment growth, student after-school enrichment programming, marketing, and family engagement. This position works closely and collaboratively with the Principal to strengthen enrollment , retention, and community life at Virginia’s only Catholic dual language Spanish–English immersion Catholic school.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in a school or child-centered educational setting
• Prior experience as a teacher, educator, and/or school leader
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with current communication tools, digital platforms, AI, and marketing/ enrollment trends
• Passion for Catholic education and dual language immersion
• Intermediate proficiency in reading and writing in Spanish
• Strong professional English communication skills and a high level of professionalism

Responsibilities

• Supporting the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment and onboarding of new families
• Coordinating and helping to implement student after-school enrichment programs each trimester
• Supporting family engagement initiatives that foster strong relationships and student retention
• Assisting with marketing and enrollment efforts aligned with current trends and best practices
• Managing school communications using modern platforms, tools, and emerging technologies
• Conducting research on enrollment , marketing, and engagement trends; attending relevant workshops and professional learning opportunities
• Building and sustaining partnerships with mission-aligned community organizations
• Collaborating closely with school leadership and anticipating administrative needs
