About The Position

This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Claremont Immersion School. All Teachers/Instructional Staff hired after January 15th are considered term employees. This position is a term position that is effective for FY26 through June 18, 2026 only. You would need to re-apply for a position for FY27.

Requirements

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Elementary Education endorsement.
• English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification required.
• Experience Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas
• Knowledge of best instructional practices
• Ability to integrate technology
• Experience in educational and instructional leadership

Nice To Haves

• Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred but not required.
