About The Position

English Instructor 2026-2027 School year; 186 contract days, 100% FTE Location: Mandan High School Salary: Starting $55,550 for Bachelors degree; starting $57,072 for Master's degree. Full benefit package included. Position Summary: Mandan Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a High School English Instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The instructor should be qualified to teach 9-12th grade english courses. Essential Functions: Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Delivery of ELA standards within the designated curriculum Ability to collaborate within Professional Learning Community Build and maintain positive relationships with students Active participant in the MTSS and SEL programs Advisor to the school newspaper Reports to: High School Principal Qualifications: Must hold appropriate license from the ND Education Standards and Practices Board with a Special Education Endorsement or eligible for a plan on file.
