About The Position

In this instructor role, your primary focus is teaching and training. You’ll deliver engaging classroom sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and practical labs covering the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of our automated systems. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical or electromechanical background who enjoys sharing knowledge and working hands-on with industrial equipment.

Requirements

  • associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering Technology. Or 3+ years of hands-on experience as a field service or maintenance technician working with mechanical or electromechanical systems.
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting of mechanical or electromechanical equipment—ideally in industrial or automation environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to deliver a demo lesson as part of the selection process.
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must pass a background check to access secured customer sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automated machinery, conveyors, robotics, or industrial equipment is a plus but not required.
  • Exposure to control systems or industrial software is a plus, though not required.
  • Prior experience delivering technical training, coaching, or mentoring is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with e-learning platforms or digital training tools is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical training (approx. 30% classroom, 70% hands-on) to internal teams and customers.
  • Teach maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and safe operation of mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations using industrial conveyor and sortation systems.
  • Adapt training content to different learning styles and experience levels.
  • Support the setup and growth of our new training center in Marietta, GA.
