This position is accountable for providing engineering assistance to the Resident Engineer in the inspection and layout of construction projects. The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking to hire Engineering Technicians (ET I). As an Engineering Technician I, you have the possibility of promoting to an Engineering Technician II within 12-24 months. A possibility of promoting to an Engineering Technician III within 18-30 months.
