About The Position

This position assists with monitoring the entry, timeliness, and accuracy of all bridge inventory data and Inspection types required by policy and to meet National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) requirements.

Requirements

Completion of two years of college in civil engineering technology, pre-engineering or a job related technical/science curriculum OR Two years of engineering experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Occasional statewide travel with overnight stays.
Successful completion of a background screening.

Responsibilities

Assists in monitoring and verifying entry of all inventory and inspection types required by policy and to meet NBIS requirements.
Assists in generating reports of bridge inspection due dates.
Assists in generating structure reports to provide support for the bridge office, district offices, FHWA, and the news media.
Performs duties in compliance with departmental safety rules. Performs all duties in a manner conducive to the fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
Performs other duties as assigned.
