About The Position

Viwinco has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Supervisor to join our team! We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to provided technical leadership and engineering support across manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on equipment validation, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Production, and cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or a related role
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role (Team Lead, Supervisor, etc)
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, including process flow, layout, assembly, and production equipment
  • Experience leading projects or initiatives and presenting status updates to leadership or executive teams
  • Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), manufacturing systems, and data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, lead teams, and drive projects to completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language skills preferred but not required
  • Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 4 talented Engineers
  • Lead all equipment validation projects to ensure safety, quality, and operational compliance
  • Support and contribute to Weekly Engineering Team Meetings and Daily Production Team Meetings
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineers to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and closure criteria
  • Develop, implement, and maintain performance tracking and reporting methods for the Manufacturing Engineering department
  • Support the manufacturing launch of new and revised products, including documentation, training support, and procurement of tooling and equipment
  • Assist in the design and optimization of machinery layouts and equipment for improved manufacturing methods
  • Conduct time studies on manufacturing processes; document data, analysis, and findings
  • Participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all process improvement activities
  • Create standard work instructions and document processes to capture current-state conditions
  • Participate in Kaizen events and other continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, safety, and waste reduction
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support overall manufacturing and operational objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
