Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Systems Engineering (or related technical field)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering or project/program management
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies
  • Experience leading complex technical or engineering projects
  • Experience working in defense or aerospace environments
  • Knowledge of EVMS, project budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling tools
  • Experience with critical path analysis and program execution
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows-based systems

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Experience supporting ground combat or tactical vehicle programs (e.g., Stryker)
  • Experience managing subcontractors and supplier integration

Responsibilities

  • Production Support
  • Lead resolution of production-related problem reports and technical issues
  • Drive development, validation, and approval of corrective actions for critical production risks
  • Coordinate activities with the Joint Change Review Board (JCRB)
  • Partner with technical leads to ensure quality and compliance of engineering solutions
  • Sustainment, Task Orders & Obsolescence
  • Serve as primary technical interface for internal teams, customers, and subcontractors
  • Support proposal development and RFP responses, including kickoff planning
  • Develop and manage project plans and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) across internal teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure alignment of schedules and deliverables with contract requirements
  • Program Execution & Project Management
  • Apply Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles to manage scope, schedule, and cost
  • Track and ensure completion of project milestones in alignment with internal processes
  • Forecast engineering resources and manpower requirements
  • Identify, manage, and resolve program risks and critical issues
  • Provide program status updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and track performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Interpret and manage contractual scope and technical requirements
