About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Manager of the F-35 Development team within F-35 LoB Project Engineering organization within Engineering & Technology (E&T). You will lead the team in driving performance and technical integration for the F-35 Program (i.e. Classified capabilities, Weapons, CNI, and Sensors). In addition to leading the team, you will drive Domain Excellence Team performance while managing accurate execution forecasts, meaningful VARs, and well documented Risk and Opportunities. You will use metrics to address and improve E&T team performance in cost, schedule and technical. The manager will also lead and participate in process improvement initiatives related to Air System development and execution. Staff you manage in execution will help the Capture team to build executable proposals that are set up for ease of execution and management by the F-35 Line of Business. What You Will Be Doing As the Manager your responsibilities will include: Managing team resources within allocated budgets to ensure support for capabilities in development in a dynamic environment Identifying and addressing issues, risks and opportunities Interacting with leadership in E&T, program management, sustainment, and stakeholders Developing and maintaining a Vemo staffing plan that supports evaluation of future staffing needs Performing personnel management tasks including staffing, training, assigning and directing work, and conducting performance reviews. Will provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

  • BS in Engineering or alternate STEM major with technical experience
  • Project Engineering/ technical experience
  • Experience leading and/ or mentoring early/ mid-career staff
  • EVMS and / or CAM Experience
  • SECRET or higher security clearance with Special Access Programs
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Mission Systems development lifecycles.
