About The Position

BlackRock Resources is seeking an Engineering Manager for our manufacturing client in the Canonsburg area. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing processes including, but not limited to: optimizing production workflows, enhancing product quality, and supervising manufacturing engineering staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers to meet departmental goals.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Work with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve issues and optimize operations.
• Analyze production data to identify problems and implement improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Ensure all processes meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and present reports, updates, and process recommendations to management.
• Support new product introductions, including documentation and staff training.
• Oversee and coordinate CapEx projects with project managers and engineering partners.
