Raleigh Water is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager of the Raleigh Water Capital Improvement Program to lead the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Division. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of the Capital Improvement Program and plays a critical leadership role in the planning, development, and execution of Raleigh Water's 10-year, $2+ billion capital improvement plan. The Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CIP project delivery-from initial planning through design and construction-while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and a passion for public infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a strong background in project management, engineering, and team supervision-particularly in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure. You bring a deep understanding of engineering principles related to water and sewer systems, along with extensive experience managing capital improvement projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Raleigh Water, a leading utility within the City of Raleigh, is responsible for providing exceptional water and wastewater services to the City of Raleigh service area, including the Towns of Garner, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Knightdale, Wendell, and Zebulon.
