About The Position

As an Engineering Manager you will oversee the development and implementation of software solutions using IBM Mainframe technologies. You will ensure the successful delivery of projects within the Cards & Payments domain while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model. Requirements

  • Possess extensive experience in IBM Mainframe technologies including CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol.
  • Demonstrate strong domain knowledge in Cards & Payments enhancing project relevance and impact.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Showcase effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Hold a proven track record of successful project delivery within a hybrid work model.
  • Display strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering team in designing and developing software solutions using IBM Mainframe Utilities CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol.
  • Oversee the implementation of projects within the Cards & Payments domain ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and optimize processes for enhanced performance.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in software development and project management.
  • Monitor project progress and address any technical challenges to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering processes.
  • Manage resource allocation and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain system reliability.
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions.
  • Travel as required to meet with stakeholders and support project implementation efforts.
