Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Engineering Manager located in Henrico, VA. Reporting to the Director – Engineering, the Engineering Manager role involves being responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 7 years of engineering experience including supervision.
  • Electrical engineering design experience across multiple product cycles required
  • Strong understanding of analog, digital, power, and mixed‑signal circuit design.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools
  • Experience with prototype validation, debugging methodologies, and electrical test equipment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (UL strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
  • Establish and improve process capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
  • Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Improve throughput in constrained areas.
  • Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
  • Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
  • Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
