Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Embedded Engineering or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of technical product development experience with at least 2-3 in management or leadership.
• Familiarity with telecommunications standards such as GR-63, GR-1089, GR-78, and UL62368-1.
• Experience with parametric modeling or electronic design automation software like Autodesk Inventor, or Altium Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead a talented team of designers responsible for developing new power distribution products.
• Mentor engineers across various disciplines, including embedded software, mechanical design, electrical engineering, and standards development.
• Partner with design engineers in creation of previously non-existent products or modification of existing products.
• Work with customers and sales to refine technical specs that can lead to the creation of novel industry solutions.
• Coordinate testing to various industry standards to ensure reliability of products; direct projects, setting the agenda for meetings and timelines for completion of steps and monitor progress of team.
• Oversee information systems program, plans and procedures.
