About The Position

Our healthcare system is the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in the U.S. Every year, over 50 million Americans suffer adverse financial consequences as a result of seeking care, from lower credit scores to garnished wages. The challenge is only getting worse, as high deductible health plans are the fastest growing plan design in the U.S. Cedar’s mission is to leverage data science, smart product design and personalization to make healthcare more affordable and accessible. Today, healthcare providers still engage with its consumers in a “one-size-fits-all” approach; and Cedar is excited to leverage consumer best practices to deliver a superior experience. The role: As part of our continued growth and commitment to building impactful solutions, we are excited to hire an Engineering Manager to the Payment Plans squad. The Payment Plans squad is responsible for both maintaining and enhancing Cedar’s core payment plans experience. At Cedar, your work has a direct and meaningful impact on people’s lives. This is a product engineering leadership role focused on building and evolving customer-facing functionality. Payments at Cedar are not a side feature; they are core to how patients pay and how providers get paid. Through ownership of the payment plans experience, you will play a fundamental role in making healthcare affordable and accessible for our patients. Engineering Managers at Cedar are responsible for their team’s success, balancing technical leadership with people development.
