This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You'll stay close to the team: reviewing PRs, guiding architectural decisions, and providing clarity. As a manager, you will also coach your engineers, remove blockers, and partner with Product to make sure the team is delivering the right features at the right time. This role is for you if: You've managed engineers before and want to keep doing it You're energized by growing people, not just shipping code But, you also believe great engineering managers stay technical You want to work on a product with real educational impact, used by learners worldwide Why this role is exciting: High-growth product: Learn is our newest product area with strong momentum since launch. Consumer-facing and relatable: This is a product regular people choose to level up their skills. You'll build something your friends and family can actually try. Meaningful AI: We're using AI in ways that genuinely help people learn, not just as a buzzword. You'll work on hard, interesting problems at the intersection of AI and education. Both dimensions of leadership: This role blends technical leadership with people development. If you want to grow as both a technologist and a manager, not just pick one lane, this might be the role for you. Small team, clear impact: Our team is tight-knit. You'd work directly with the leadership team, and your decisions would matter to the success of the business.
