About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high-performing teams building mission-critical systems for institutional trading platforms. Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in engineering management.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through complex projects while balancing strategic and tactical priorities.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems at scale, multi-tenanted architectures, and operational excellence.
  • Strong technical judgment and ability to contribute directly to code, design reviews, or incident management when needed.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and coaching skills to support team and organizational success.
  • Passion for building innovative financial systems and a forward-looking mindset on technology trends.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scaling engineering teams from small to large (10 to 100+ engineers).
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
  • Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres.
  • Background in financial, high-reliability, or security-focused systems.
  • Understanding of on-chain interactions, dApps, and web3 infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams responsible for institutional product platforms, ensuring high-quality delivery and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and senior leadership to translate strategic vision into executable plans and tangible outcomes.
  • Drive technical decisions on architecture and implementation, balancing scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Coach and support team members’ career growth while fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to recruit top engineering talent aligned with team goals and culture.
  • Define and refine engineering processes to meet operational SLAs and quality standards.
